Two ways to Vote by Mail
Ki diferans ki genyen ant yon Bilten Vòt Alavans nan Kourye Lapòs ak yon Bilten Vòt Moun ki Absan?
Any registered voter can vote using an Early Mail Ballot.
Previously, voters were only able to vote by mail by requesting an absentee ballot, which required a valid reason for being unable to vote in-person such as being out of town, illness or injury, or being incarcerated pre-trial or for a misdemeanor.
Vote atravè Bilten Vòt Moun ki Absan an se yon opsyon ki toujou valid, men jounen jodi a nenpòt elektè kapab mande yon Bilten Vòt Alavans nan kourye Lapòs. Nan New York, ou pa bezwen eskiz. Se sa ki pi enpòtan pou elektè yo konnen.
No matter if you request an Early Mail or Absentee Ballot, your vote will count just the same – as long as it is postmarked by Election Day.
